What’s New in Manganum

We have updated the notes and tasks apps. Now you can choose between Manganum notes and Google Keep to save all the important ideas you want. When the time comes to make these ideas real, you can choose between Todoist and Google Tasks to make a plan.

Bonus track: we added a graphic calculator.

We have updated the translator app. The quality of translations has increased significantly—thanks to Google. Five new languages have been added. We know you dreamed about Yiddish and Xhosa. And dessert: now you can translate docx, pdf, pptx, or xlsx documents.

We updated the sidebar and app container look and feel. More floating glass panels!

In addition, we improved sidebar’s detach logic: there is no need click the detach icon anymore — just drag it.

Last little thing: now you can move the panel by dragging it by the header.

New New year — new release! We updated the sidebar: now you can hide apps you don’t use so often. Open “Settings” to start.

If you work too much because of how productive you are after installing Manganum — we have a little unplanned surprise for you. With this update you get a reason to take a break for at least 15 minutes — to play one of four legendary arcade games: 2048, Pacman, Dino, and Flappy Bird.

Turns out — yes. Launchpad 2.0 is here and it still allows you to launch your websites, but now it looks better and can do more.

❤️ Bookmarks. You can now access your bookmarks in Launchpad. You’ll need to grant Manganum access for this feature to work.

⭐ Favorites. Thanks to the latest technological breakthrough it is now possible to add an already open site to Favorites at the speed of light. Right-click on any page or simply open Launchpad and click “Add to Favorites”.

⛅ Your favorite sites are now synced between devices if you’re using Manganum on more than one browser.

Now you can receive SMS messages directly in Manganum while your Android is in your pocket.

Click the “SMS” app in the sidebar to set it up.

As usual, all your data is encrypted and kept safe.

You can now detach the sidebar from the left edge of the screen and move it around however you please.

When the sidebar is detached, it will keep its position and state even if you click a link and go to another page.

Detach is available on all sites except the new tab.

Be sure to give it a try.

You can now change the order of the sidebar apps. For one of the sidebar apps, you can enable the “auto open” option to make it launch automatically on every Manganum new tab.

For those who like consistency: you can choose between light and dark color themes, and time and date preferences are now global (affect Date and Time widget, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes).

Introducing Notes — a tool for writing that is always one click away. Perfect for jotting down a client's phone number. Great for saving a few lines of code. Irreplaceable for taking notes when the context is crucial.

Meet the Tasks app: a Google Tasks client that is easily accessible on every tab of your browser. There is no need to switch the context to mark something as “done” or add something new to the list.
